Originally from Arlington, VA, John holds an M.A.T. from Brown University and a B.A. from Dickinson College, where he studied English and creative writing, as well as worked as a head tutor of the college’s writing center. He has taught literature, poetry writing, and creative nonfiction to students at the Moses Brown School in Providence, RI, as well as at the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth in Baltimore, MD. His poems have appeared in The Hungry Chimera, The Round, and The Dickinson Review.
